Well, today required another day of over 100kms to make it to the 500km mark. This was not easy as fatigue was setting in, and many parts of my body were starting to get sunburned. Although it was a rather warm day, I was forced to wear my pearl arm warmers just to keep the sun off my poor little arms. It was a beauty of a day riding to Olivers Hill and back along Beach Road with a couple of laps of Albert Park Lake just for good measure.
After the ride we both napped for a few hours, and then went out to celebrate with some delicious, local Japanese. The owner even gave us a free Kirin at the end of dinner (to share) to wish us a happy new years – which took the place from a 9/10 to a 10/10.
It was a great day, and a great effort.
504 kms done… none left to go!
Thank you open roads for all of your awesomeness.
